How to send invitations on Serai

How do I invite my partners to join Serai?

To invite your buyers or suppliers to join Serai and connect with you:
  1. Click on Invitations in the navigation bar.
  2. Press Invite, located on the top right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Fill in the required information, as listed in What information do I need to invite my partners?
  4. Select the relationship type you have with the company you are inviting (For a more detailed explanation on the relationship types check out Managing my network.)
  5. Add your personalised message in the text field (optional)
  6. Choose the relationship visibility (For more detailed explanation on the relationship visibility settings, check out Managing my network)

Can I invite multiple companies in one go?

Currently, invitations sent directly from the Serai platform are limited to one recipient at a time.

If you would like to invite multiple companies in one go, please follow these instructions to download and send the invitation form:

1. Click on invitation-2 Invitations in the navigation bar.

2. Press Invite, located on the top right-hand corner of the page.

3. The form is available to download at the bottom of the pop-up page.

4. After filling in the form, please send it to invitations@seraitrade.com and we will happily assist you in sending multiple invitations in one go - handy for sending an invitation to your entire supply chain.

 


What information do I need to invite my partners?

There are several pieces of information you need to have handy before inviting your partners, these include the:

  • Recipient’s Company Name
  • Recipient First Name & Last Name
  • Recipient’s Email Address

To increase the chances of your partners joining Serai, you can include a personalised message telling of the benefits of joining Serai.

Personalising your invitation to invite

When inviting your supply chain and buyers to join Serai, you can add a personalised message to the recipient to introduce yourself or add context to how their business will benefit from joining Serai.

To initiate an invitation and add a message:

  1. Click on invitation-2 Invitations in the navigation bar.
  2. Press Invite, located on the top right-hand corner of the page.
  3. Fill in the required information, as listed in What information do I need to invite my partners?
  4. Select the relationship type you have with the company you are inviting

  5. Add your personalised message in the text field.
  6. Choose the relationship visibility

Are there any invitation restrictions?

To maintain a safe and professional community for our users, we may remove any content that breaches Serai’s Terms of Use. We also do not allow Sanctioned Entities or Users located in Sanctioned Territories to access Serai.

We recommend that you only send invites to companies you know and trust. This will help us build a community of trustworthy companies together, which in turn can help you to find and connect to credible companies.

 


Can I withdraw my invitation?

You are able to withdraw an invitation to a company that has not yet joined Serai at any time by contacting us at support@seraitrade.com.

Will my invitation expire?

Invitations sent to companies outside Serai will not expire. However, you may send an invitation reminder to let the recipient know that they have not yet responded.
